Why it works for music
A finished track has one obvious home and several unmonetised ones. Streaming hosts the release and pays fractions; the demo, the alternate mix, the stems and the version that did not make the album have nowhere to go, so they either leak, sit unheard, or get traded for an email address.
Selling the extra material directly is the gap this fills, and it is additive rather than competitive — nothing about the release changes. A cap makes an early release feel like a moment rather than a permanent listing, which matters because scarcity is the one thing streaming cannot offer. Stems and project files typically sell for more than the track itself, to a smaller and more committed audience.
It will not build an audience, and it will not replace distribution. The people who buy are the ones already listening, which on any real audience is a small percentage of a large number.

£4
Unreleased track
£12
Demo + final + stems
£6
First 100 only — early release
What these sell for: £3–£6 for a track, £10–£12 for a bundle with stems. Stems sell for more than the finished track, which surprises most musicians.
On a sale the buyer covers the privacy & security fee, and card processing comes out of our share — so a £4 price pays you £3.20. See the full split.

Music questions
How is this different from streaming?
Streaming pays per play and pays little; this pays once, immediately, and the buyer keeps the file. It suits material streaming will not carry — demos, alternate versions, stems.
Can I sell stems and the finished track together?
Yes. They bundle naturally into one collection, and producers will pay more for the stems than for the track.
Can I do a limited early release?
Yes. Cap the link by unlocks for a fan-first window, then release normally afterwards.
