What you can sell

How you would use Unlockable

  1. 1

Sell the template pack as a collection at one price.

  2. 2

Deliver a finished client project as a paid link instead of a shared drive.

  3. 3

Sell the same asset pack to agencies and to individuals at different prices.

  4. 4

Cap a link for an early-access launch.

Why it works for designers

Designers end up doing two jobs through the same set of files. There is the retail job — templates, icons, mockups and asset packs sold to people you will never meet — and the client job, where a finished deliverable has to change hands in exchange for money. Most tools handle one or the other, so the client work runs on an invoice and a shared folder while the products sit on a marketplace that takes a cut.

A paid link covers both. For the client, it means the files unlock when the invoice is paid, which removes the awkward sequence of chasing payment and then granting access. For the retail side, the same asset pack can be sold at two prices to two audiences, and reused inside a larger bundle later without re-uploading anything.

It is not a project management tool and it will not replace a contract. It handles the moment of exchange — money for files — and leaves the rest of the client relationship where it was.

What these sell for: Template and asset packs sit at £12–£25. Client delivery is not a retail price at all — it scales with the project, from £250 upward.

On a sale the buyer covers the privacy & security fee, and card processing comes out of our share — so a £18 price pays you £14.40. See the full split.

Designers questions

Can I use this to deliver client work rather than sell products?

Yes, and it is an underrated use. Send the finished files as a paid link: the client pays and the files unlock, which removes the invoice-then-chase-then-share-a-folder sequence.

Can I sell the same asset pack at two different prices?

Yes — for example a personal licence and a commercial one as two separate links.

Can I sell an early-access version before public release?

Yes. Cap the link by unlocks for an early cohort, then publish the normal link afterwards.
