Why it works for artists
A finished piece of work is not one product. It is a wallpaper at phone resolution, a high-resolution file at desktop resolution, a layered source file that shows how it was built, and sometimes the brushes used to make it. Most artists sell one of those, at one price, usually as a print, and leave the rest of the work unsold.
Separating them costs nothing because the work is already done. The wallpaper pack is an easy impulse purchase; the source file sells to the smaller group who want to learn from it rather than look at it; the brush set sells to other artists entirely. Each is a link at its own price, from a single drawing.
What it does not solve is discovery or piracy — someone determined to share a file will share it. What it changes is that each version of the work has a price and a place to be bought, rather than one price and a lot of unsold potential.

What these sell for: Wallpaper and brush packs are £5–£12; the layered source file is £15–£20. The same drawing sells twice at two resolutions.
On a sale the buyer covers the privacy & security fee, and card processing comes out of our share — so a £6 price pays you £4.80. See the full split.

Artists questions
What resolution should I sell at?
Whatever you are comfortable releasing. The layered source file is usually the higher-priced product and the flat export the cheaper one, which lets you sell the same piece twice at two prices.
Can I sell brushes and source files separately?
Yes, and they attract different buyers — one wants to make something, the other wants to learn how you made it.
Can I sell the same artwork as a wallpaper pack and a print file?
Yes. They are separate links at separate prices, so nothing stops you selling the same drawing at two resolutions to two audiences.
