What you can sell

How you would use Unlockable

  1. 1

Sell the uncut interview as a link, keeping the edited version free.

  2. 2

Bundle the deleted scenes with the extended cut as a collection.

  3. 3

Sell the b-roll as a stock pack to other creators.

  4. 4

Send the link in the video description and in a pinned comment.

Why it works for youtubers

Editing is subtractive, and the material that gets removed is often the most interesting part. The full interview, the tangent that ran twenty minutes, the segment that was cut for pacing β€” all of it already exists, already has an audience in the people who watched the published version, and almost always gets deleted.

That makes it the cheapest product a video creator owns, because the work is already done. The uncut interview sells as one link, deleted scenes bundle with it as a collection, and the B-roll becomes a stock pack for other creators β€” three products from footage that was going in the bin. Nothing about the upload schedule or the free video has to change, and the free video is what does the selling.

It will not work if nobody watches the main channel, and it will not rescue a video that underperformed. It monetises the minority of viewers who wanted more, which on any channel with a real audience is a larger number than it sounds.

What these sell for: Deleted scenes and extended cuts are Β£5–£10. B-roll packs reach Β£20 because they sell to creators, not to your viewers.

On a sale the buyer covers the privacy & security fee, and card processing comes out of our share β€” so a Β£5 price pays you Β£4. See the full split.

YouTubers questions

Will selling deleted scenes cannibalise the video?

Usually the opposite. The people who buy the uncut version are the ones who already watched the free one and wanted more, so the free video is doing the selling.

Can I sell my B-roll to other creators?

Yes. A clip pack is a separate product for a separate buyer, and it earns from footage that was already shot.

Do I need to change anything about my channel?

No. The link goes in the description or a pinned comment, and nothing about the upload schedule changes.

Upload it, set a price, share the link. No monthly fee, no membership, nothing to pay until something sells.
