Why it works for make creators
A scenario blueprint has a specific commercial advantage over a bespoke build: it can be sold repeatedly. The same automation that solved one client problem usually solves it for a hundred similar businesses, and abstracting the client-specific parts is the work that turns a one-off project into an asset. Most Make builders do this work anyway and then give the result away inside the next project.
Make buyers are operators rather than developers, which changes what the documentation has to do. They will import the blueprint, so the value is in knowing which connections to make, in what order, and what to do when a module fails. A scenario with that written down justifies several times the price of the same blueprint dropped into a forum post.
What it will not do is work without setup. Every connection is the buyer's own, so an import is a starting point rather than a finished automation, and pretending otherwise is the fastest route to a refund. Pricing the buyer's time honestly — a documented install that takes fifteen minutes rather than an afternoon — is the actual product being sold.

£29

£69
Scenario pack, 8 blueprints

What these sell for: £25 for a scenario, £69 for a themed pack. Platform complexity justifies a little more than the equivalent n8n file.
On a sale the buyer covers the privacy & security fee, and card processing comes out of our share — so a £25 price pays you £20. See the full split.

Make creators questions
Do buyers need to reconfigure everything after importing?
Yes, and saying so plainly is part of the product. A blueprint arrives without your credentials, so the buyer reconnects each module themselves. A guide that lists exactly which connections are needed, and in what order, is the difference between a fifteen-minute install and a support thread.
Can I sell the same scenario to several businesses?
Yes, if the underlying problem is generic — lead enrichment, reporting, invoice handling. What you cannot do is sell a client-specific build, because it depends on their systems. The sellable version is the pattern with the client details abstracted, which is usually the more valuable asset anyway.
Should I price per scenario or as a pack?
Both, at different prices. A single scenario at £25 is an easy decision; a pack of eight at £69 prices the collection as a system and appeals to buyers who want a toolkit rather than one fix. Selling them separately means the pack does not cannibalise the singles.
