What you can sell

How you would use Unlockable

  1. 1

Bundle the notes, the practice questions and the cheat sheet as one collection.

  2. 2

Sell a single revision guide as its own link for exam season.

  3. 3

Expire the link when the syllabus changes.

  4. 4

Share it with a cohort through a group chat or by email.

Why it works for educators

Educational material has a demand curve that looks nothing like other content. Exam season is a spike, the syllabus changes, and the buyers arrive in cohorts — a class, a year group, a set of students all needing the same thing at the same moment. Selling into that with a permanent store listing and a permanent price is a poor fit for how the demand actually behaves.

A link fits it better. Share one link with a cohort and each student buys individually, which means there is nothing to reconcile and no bulk-order process. Expire the pack when the syllabus changes and you are never selling material that has gone stale, then publish an updated version as a new link. Bundling the notes, the practice questions and the cheat sheet as one collection is what students want anyway.

It will not replace teaching, and the price ceiling is low because students are price-sensitive and the free alternatives are plentiful. The value being sold is organisation and time saved, not access to knowledge.

What these sell for: Revision packs are £4–£15. Cohort buying raises volume rather than price — a class of thirty at £8 beats three at £40.

On a sale the buyer covers the privacy & security fee, and card processing comes out of our share — so a £12 price pays you £9.60. See the full split.

Educators questions

Does the link expire when the syllabus changes?

It can. Set an expiry date and the pack closes itself, which keeps you from selling material that is out of date.

Can I sell to a whole class or cohort?

Yes — share one link with the group. Each student buys individually, so there is nothing to reconcile afterwards.

Can I sell notes and practice questions together?

Yes. Upload them as a collection so one price covers the pack, which is usually what students want anyway.
