What you can sell

How you would use Unlockable

  1. 1

Bundle the itinerary, the map and the packing list as one collection.

  2. 2

Add a voice note talking through the route β€” the closest thing to coming along.

  3. 3

Sell the photo set from the trip separately for people who just want the images.

  4. 4

Expire a link when a season ends or a place changes.

Why it works for travel creators

Travel content has an inversion at its centre: the photos are what gets attention, and the itinerary is what people actually want to buy. Anyone can look at a picture of a place; assembling a week that works β€” where to stay, what to skip, how long each leg takes, what it costs β€” is hours of research that most people would rather pay to avoid.

Selling the plan rather than the pictures is the difference between a product and an advert. The itinerary, the map and the packing list bundle into one collection, and a voice note walking through the route is the closest thing to coming along. The photo set can still sell separately to the people who only want the images, and anything seasonal can be expired so it never goes stale.

It will not make you a travel agent, and there is no support if a trip goes wrong β€” the disclaimer matters more here than on most products. What is being sold is research already done, not a guarantee.

What these sell for: Itineraries sell at Β£8–£15, photo sets separately at Β£15–£25. Seasonal guides are usually cheaper because they expire.

On a sale the buyer covers the privacy & security fee, and card processing comes out of our share β€” so a Β£12 price pays you Β£9.60. See the full split.

Travel creators questions

Is the itinerary or the photo set the better product?

Usually the itinerary. People will pay for the plan they would otherwise spend hours assembling, and photos are free everywhere. Selling both separately works well.

Can I expire a guide when a place changes?

Yes, and it is worth doing for anything seasonal or likely to go out of date.

Can I include a map and a packing list?

Yes. Upload them with the itinerary as a collection so one payment unlocks the whole plan.
