Why it works for recipes
Recipes are the most commoditised content on the internet, so selling the recipe is a losing position. What is not commoditised is the planning: a week of meals worked out, quantities consolidated into one shopping list, and nothing bought that goes unused. That is the hour you are actually saving somebody, and it is what people pay for.
Packaging follows from that. Twenty recipes with a consolidated list is a different product from twenty recipes, and it prices like one. Seasonal menus sell the same recipes again the following year, and expiring them when the season turns means nothing sits there looking out of date. A single technique video can be sold separately for the thing people keep asking about.
It will not convert someone who is happy to plan their own meals, and that is a large part of any audience. This works on the people who value the hour more than the money.

Β£8
Seasonal menu pack
What these sell for: Β£10 for twenty recipes with a list, Β£5 for a technique video. Seasonal packs are Β£8 because they return next year.
On a sale the buyer covers the privacy & security fee, and card processing comes out of our share β so a Β£10 price pays you Β£8. See the full split.

Recipes questions
Why would anyone pay for recipes?
For the organisation and the shopping list, not the instructions. A collection arranged into a week of meals with one consolidated list is a different product from a free recipe.
Can I sell a seasonal menu?
Yes, and expiring the link at the end of the season is both honest and a reason to buy now.
Can I include technique videos?
Yes. Upload them with the recipes as one collection, or sell the technique on its own for people who only want that.
Start with one piece of content
Upload it, set a price, share the link. No monthly fee, no membership, nothing to pay until something sells.
